Family Therapy
Family therapy is beneficial to address issues such as conflict resolution, communication breakdowns, parenting challenges, trauma, or major life transitions that impact the family system. Family therapy is meant to work collaboratively with each family member, creating a safe place to explore underlying problems and cycles of dysfunction. Family therapy will take a deeper look at the roles, communications, behaviors, and patterns that impact the family system as a whole. Through interventions such as communication skills training, role-playing, and systemic mapping, family therapy seeks to improve understanding, strengthen connections, and promote healthier functioning within the family.
